W30-- Reprogramming Epithelial & Immune Responses Through CFTR Modulation

The central theme of this workshop is understanding how highly effective modulator therapy (HEMT) is reshaping CF biology while revealing new therapeutic challenges. We will discuss how HEMT reprograms epithelial metabolism, host defense, and immune function, yet persistent inflammation and tissue remodeling continue to drive residual disease, highlighting priorities for the next generation of CF therapies. In addition, we will examine emerging minimally invasive approaches for therapeutic drug monitoring that may help identify low responders and enable precision dosing of CFTR modulators.
