This interdisciplinary symposium will focus on integrating trauma informed care into clinical practice and recognizing unique contributors to medical traumatic stress, including pulmonary function tests, pain, and cultural considerations in cystic fibrosis. Attendees will learn practical strategies for mitigating medical traumatic stress. This session will also highlight the importance of cultural sensitivity and competency in effectively delivering trauma informed care.
