Christina Thornton is an assistant professor from the University of Calgary who recently completed an adult respirology fellowship and postdoctoral training with a background in cystic fibrosis microbiology. Her research interests in particular relate to the microbiome and the role of anaerobic organisms during periods of clinical stability and pulmonary exacerbations.
