Tiffany McCrabb, MS, APRN-CNP, AE-C

University of Oklahoma Health Campus

Tiffany is a nurse practitioner and research program manager in the Pediatric Pulmonary & Cystic Fibrosis Center at the University of Oklahoma Health Campus and Oklahoma Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City. She obtained her BS in Nursing from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1999 and went on to complete a Master of Science degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2004. She holds national certification as a family nurse practitioner and asthma educator. Tiffany has been in practice in the Pediatric Pulmonary & Cystic Fibrosis Center at OU for more than 20 years. In that time, she has been a champion for asthma education and helped coordinate the first asthma educator courses at OU with the American Lung Association. Tiffany provided back-up CF coverage over the years and served as a sub-investigator for TDN studies, but her clinical work was primarily focused in asthma care until she assumed the leadership role for our CF Research Program in February 2020. She quickly acclimated to full-time CF care and research with the TDN, guiding her team through the ever-changing challenges of clinical research in a global pandemic. When the role of Adult CF Program Coordinator became unexpectedly vacant in July 2021, she graciously filled in the role, in addition to her research duties, for nearly a year until a replacement was hired. In her research role, Tiffany has led her team in multiple QI initiatives, presented multiple times at NACFC and participated in the TDN's Protocol Review Committee. Throughout her career, Tiffany has been committed to providing compassionate, patient-first, guideline-consistent care to people of all ages living with asthma and cystic fibrosis. Away from the clinic, you’ll find Tiffany RV camping, hiking and mountain biking with her hubby, daughters and puppies.
