Samantha Durfey

Emory University

Sam Durfey, PhD, is a postdoctoral fellow at Emory University, working with Dr. Benjamin Kopp. She studies persistent immune defects following treatment with CFTR modulators, and especially the role gut pathology may play in modulating the immune system. She completed her PhD at the University of Washington with Dr. Pradeep Singh. There, she studied how CFTR modulators affect chronic Pseudomonas lung infections.
