Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Cynthia George, MSN, FNP is the Senior Director of Partnerships for Sustaining Daily Care at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF). In this role, she leads efforts to promote a holistic approach to managing cystic fibrosis (CF) treatments alongside the demands of everyday life. Her work includes oversight of the Partnership Enhancement Program (PEP), where she also serves as a trainer. Cynthia is additionally a faculty member of the Academy of Communication in Healthcare (ACH).
Cynthia is an experienced healthcare professional with expertise in leading change by harnessing the power of community collaboration. She is skilled in developing and implementing innovative programs and research initiatives that enhance the co-production of healthcare services.
For more than two decades, her clinical practice focused on adults living with cystic fibrosis. During this time, she played a key role in establishing an adult CF program in Washington, DC. In 2008, she joined the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, where she led national initiatives within the Therapeutics Development Network (TDN). Her work focused on strengthening collaborative partnerships between care teams and people with CF and their families to foster a strong culture of research across CF care centers throughout the United States.
