Dr. Elizabeth Autry is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Upon graduating with her Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2012, Dr. Autry went on to complete a pharmacy practice residency at ECU Health (formerly Vidant Medical Center) in Greenville, North Carolina. Knowing she had a love for pediatric pharmacy practice, Dr. Autry ventured to Lexington, Kentucky to complete her Pediatric Specialty Residency under the guidance of Dr. Robert Kuhn at the University of Kentucky. After finishing her specialty training, Dr. Autry accepted a position as a Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist with an emphasis in Pediatric Pulmonary, working in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Aside from her primary role, she has covers clinical services for Pediatric Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Autry holds adjunct appointments at the University of Kentucky Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy and is currently the Residency Program Director for the PGY2 in Pediatric Pharmacy. She serves as a mentor to the PGY1 pharmacy practice residents, PGY2 pediatrics residents, and preceptor to PGY1 and PGY2 residents and APPE students. Her interests include pediatric critical care, pharmacokinetic changes in cystic fibrosis, antimicrobials, patient medication adherence and outcomes, and transitions of care.
