Alexandra (Alix) Wilson, MS, RDN, CDCES has 15 years of experience in cystic fibrosis, working as the registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator with the Adult CF Clinic of Colorado prior to making the transition into clinical research with the Adult CF Clinical Research Services team at National Jewish Health in Denver. Alix is an active member of the CF research and clinical quality improvement teams at her institution. She served as the dietitian representative of the Sexual Health, Reproduction, and Gender-Working Group (SHARING-WG), is a member of the CFF and TDN Research Coordinator Advisory Group, and TDN Protocol Review Committee. She has participated as an apprentice in both the CF nutrition and RC mentor programs as well as LOFT-RC, becoming Mentor for the nutrition mentor program and for the RC mentor program. She has presented on nutrition, CF-related diabetes, quality improvement (both nutrition and clinical research), and clinical research at CF events. She also served as the Colorado Delegate for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics House of Delegates from June 2020 to May 2023. She is an active member of the Rocky Mountain CF Foundation Board of Directors and regularly participates in CF fundraising events. A firm believer in balance and integrity, she also completed 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teach training (YTT) programs, now teaching yoga in her local community of Mead, Colorado.
