Michael Wilschanski, MD, Dr. Wilschanski is a Professor of Pediatrics and Ditrector of Pediatric Gastroenterology at Hadassah University Hospitals, Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. His Center is a referral center in Israel for children with acute recurrent and chronic pancreatitis in children. He has long-standing interest in Cystic Fibrosis and CF and non-CF related causes of pancreatitis in children. He is the Director of the Electrophysiology Laboratory in Hadassah Medical Center with a special interest in CF diagnosis and CFTR-related disorders. He has investigated novel treatments for Cystic Fibrosis and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. He is currently investigating the gastroenterological and pancreatic effects of CF Modulator drugs.
