Holly Carroll-Owen

University of Virginia Children's

Holly Carroll-Owen is a passionate advocate dedicated to improving experiences and outcomes for individuals and families navigating complex healthcare journeys. She holds a BS from Mary Baldwin University and has spent more than a decade leading operations within government healthcare programs. Holly brings a deep understanding of systems, access, and the critical role advocacy plays in ensuring every voice is heard. Driven by both professional expertise and personal experience, Holly is committed to supporting the Cystic Fibrosis community. As a mother to a son living with CF, she channels her perspective into advocacy, fostering connections, and empowering families with knowledge and resources. Holly has been engaged in QI with the UVA Children's Care Center since 2019 as a Family Partner, leads the UVA CF Patient and Family Advisory Board, and currently serves as the Chair for the CFLN Patient and Family Partner Workgroup.
