Megan Barker, MSRT, RRT-ACCS, CPDE, Founder and Executive Director of Project CF Spouse, is a respiratory therapist with more than 20 years of clinical experience and a longtime advocate for individuals and families affected by cystic fibrosis. As both a healthcare professional and the spouse of a person living with CF, she brings a unique perspective that bridges clinical care with the lived experiences of partners and families. Megan founded Project CF Spouse in 2016 to provide education, connection, and advocacy for spouses and partners of adults with CF, helping ensure their voices are recognized as an essential part of comprehensive CF care. Her work focuses on identifying unmet support needs, promoting partner inclusion within the multidisciplinary care team, and advancing research that informs patient- and family-centered care.
