Janelle Heddings, PhD, is a pediatric psychologist and associate professor in the Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry at the West Virginia University School of Medicine. She is the Mental Health Coordinator for the Mountain State Cystic Fibrosis Center at WVU Medicine in Morgantown, WV. Dr. Heddings received her doctorate in clinical psychology from West Virginia University. She completed her internship training in pediatric psychology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, KY and her fellowship training in pediatric psychology at Akron Children’s Hospital in Akron, OH. Dr. Heddings has experience providing assessment and interventions to children and adolescents within diverse clinical settings, including outpatient clinics and inpatient medical settings. She has clinical and research interests with a variety of child and pediatric populations, including cystic fibrosis and pain management.
