Brittney Rankin, BAS, RRT, is a Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in pediatric pulmonary care. She currently works in the Pediatric Pulmonary Lab at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital within a Cystic Fibrosis Center, where she provides respiratory care to pediatric patients and supports advanced pulmonary diagnostics.
Her clinical expertise and dedication contribute to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care for children with complex respiratory conditions. Brittney is particularly passionate about improving the patient experience and promoting effective, developmentally appropriate care strategies.
She is currently collaborating with a colleague on a quality improvement (QI) project focused on early education and exposure to spirometry testing in children with cystic fibrosis. This project examines how introducing spirometry at age four may help reduce procedural anxiety and improve patient cooperation during testing.
