Jamie K. Dokson, MS, LCGC is a multi-state licensed genetic counselor with over 17 years of experience in both clinical and laboratory settings, with a primary focus on reproductive genetics. She earned her undergraduate degree from Brown University and her Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University. For more than a decade, Jamie worked in a large Atlanta-area fertility practice, where she specialized in IVF, preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), carrier screening, and other preconception genetic counseling. In 2021, she established the Genetics Department at Kaiser Permanente Southeast and currently serves as Program Director of Genetic Counseling, where she continues to see patients for preconception, prenatal, and cancer genetics consultations. Jamie is also an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Human Genetics at Emory University, where she has mentored numerous trainees. She is an active member of both the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).
