Dana P. Albon, MD, MS, FCCP, ATSF, is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. She is a board-certified pulmonologist specializing in comprehensive care for patients with cystic fibrosis and serves as the medical director of the UVA Adult Cystic Fibrosis Clinic. She is actively involved in CF Learning Network, CF QI, and research, and is particularly interested in the interactions between comorbidities, such as allergies and asthma, and their influence on outcomes for people with Cystic Fibrosis. In addition, she is interested in research on the impact of different modalities of clinical care, such as telehealth and remote monitoring, on patient outcomes.
