Dr. Sabiha Hussain, MD, MPH, is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She serves as Director of the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program and is the founder of YourHealthKiosk (YHK), an innovative digital health platform that leverages AI-enabled navigation, bidirectional messaging, and community partnerships to improve healthcare access and address social determinants of health among underserved populations.
Dr. Hussain's research focuses on digital health, remote patient monitoring, and implementation science in chronic respiratory diseases. She has partnered with Strados Labs to evaluate the RESP™ Biosensor in patients with cystic fibrosis and bronchiectasis, investigating its ability to detect cough, monitor respiratory symptoms, and identify early signs of pulmonary exacerbations. By integrating wearable technologies with YHK, she is developing scalable approaches to improve disease monitoring, patient engagement, and clinical outcomes. Her work is dedicated to advancing health equity, improving respiratory care delivery, and mentoring future healthcare leaders.
