Heather Bruschwein, PsyD is a board-certified clinical health psychologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences at the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Medicine. She completed a health psychology postdoctoral fellowship at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Transplant Program. She works with the UVA Adult and Pediatric cystic fibrosis clinics. She serves as the Mental Health Coordinator for the Adult clinic and the Quality Improvement Lead (QIL). She is also the Clinical Health Psychology Training Director at UVA. Her research interests include cystic fibrosis and mental health, social determinants of health, transplant and mental health, and quality improvement.
