Emma E. Williams, MD, is an Internal Medicine Resident at UCLA with an interest in CF and bronchiectasis generally. She completed medical school at the UCSD and has a background in research grounded in translational and qualitative methodologies and focused on questions of health equity and systems policy. Her interest in CF stems from meaningful clinical experiences in medical school observing the
exceptional way in which a health system could be adapted to meet patients’ multidisciplinary needs efficiently. She looks forward to growing
her understanding of CF and exploring new questions along the bronchiectasis spectrum of disease, both academically and clinically.
