DG01-- Building the CF Therapy Toolbox

This discussion group for physical and respiratory therapy will focus on the clinician's toolbox and getting back to basics in CF care. Presenters will touch on the basics across the lifespan through four areas: a RT dive into airway physiology/active clearance, a PT discussion of full and field exercise test testing, a RT look into PFT's how to optimize them and what they tell us in the long-term and a PT review of frailty measures, posture and bone health. The overall emphasis will be on practical resources and tools for assessment and recommendations across the lifespan as well as simple recommendations for clinics that don't have the full complement of disciplines available.
