Melissa Vriseno, RRT/ BAS

Adult CF Center of Central Texas

Melissa Vriseno is a Registered Respiratory Therapist for the Adult Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Center of Central Texas in Austin. She earned her Associates degree from Temple College and earned her Bachelors of Applied Science Degree. She has been practicing Respiratory care since 2000 and joined the Adult CF team in 2021. Melissa has been a part of NACFC abstract submissions, poster presentations, and participated in QI initiatives with her team. She has helped serve on roundtables in 2023 and 2025 and this year is co-chair for DG01-- PT&RT: From Airway to Action: Re-Centering on Fundamental CF Therapies.
Melissa is an active member in her local CF community. She attends and supports various local CF Foundation chapter events and is a staunch advocate for her patients and families.
