Alexandra ("Ally") Hinton, MPH, PhD, is a Research Scientist at the MaineHealth Institute for Research whose work focuses on improving health care delivery and advancing equity in cystic fibrosis care. Using large-scale registry data, her research examines how social, demographic, and health system factors influence access to care, engagement in routine follow-up, and clinical outcomes for people with CF. Her recent work has explored disparities in care patterns during the era of highly effective CFTR modulators and telehealth, with the goal of informing more equitable, patient-centered models of care.
