Alex H. Gifford, MD

UH Cleveland Medical Center / Rainbow Babies and Children's

Dr. Alex Gifford is Associate Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and Senior Attending Physician at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. He holds the Connie and Jim Brown Chair in Pediatric Pulmonary Survivorship at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital and serves as Director of the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program at the LeRoy W. Matthews Cystic Fibrosis Center and of the Cystic Fibrosis Therapeutics Development Center at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital. His research interests include the design and conduct of CF clinical trials, including those pertaining to iron homeostasis, treatment simplification, and novel therapies.
