Michael Zaretsky, MD, is a maternal–fetal medicine specialist, fetal interventionist, and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He practices at the Colorado Fetal Care Center at Children’s Hospital Colorado, where he helps lead multidisciplinary care for pregnancies complicated by complex fetal conditions.
Dr. Zaretsky’s clinical and academic work focuses on fetal diagnosis, fetal therapy, and translational approaches to improving outcomes for fetuses and newborns with congenital anomalies. His areas of interest include fetal surgery, prenatal imaging, complex counseling, and emerging prenatal therapies, including treatment strategies for cystic fibrosis and other genetic conditions. He has contributed to multicenter collaborations, clinical research, and educational efforts aimed at advancing evidence-based fetal care.
