This session will highlight emerging data, innovations, and implementation efforts in CF newborn screening. Topics will include challenges in state newborn screening data collection, the impact of next-generation sequencing on diagnosis, implementation of very elevated immunoreactive trypsinogen (IRT) protocols, strategies to strengthen collaboration between newborn screening programs and primary care providers, and improving access to genetic counseling to support timely diagnosis and family care.
