Dr. Christopher Velez is a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation DIGEST program trained gastroenterologist at the Massachusetts General Hospital Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center. He is also the Program Director of the Advanced Fellowship in Neurogastroenterology and Motility Disorders at the Mass General Brigham Academic Medical Centers, practicing in the MGH Center for Neurointestinal Health. An Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, he has a focus on applying neurogastroenterology and motility principles to the management of gastrointestinal symptoms in people with CF. He performs research in the gastrointestinal complications of CF-related diabetes, gastrointestinal-related aspiration in CF (GRASP-CF), and in CF-related constipation.
