Advances in multidisciplinary care and highly effective CFTR modulator therapy have transformed CF, leading to longer survival and changing metabolic health in people with CF. While cystic fibrosis-related diabetes (CFRD) remains a common complication, emerging cardiometabolic risk, changing nutritional profiles, and new therapeutic options are challenging traditional approaches to CFRD screening and treatment. This symposium will explore key controversies in CFRD diagnosis and management in the modern era.
